Do I need additional accessories if I buy A transport bag for bike Buds-Sports ?

The bag itself is sufficient for carrying the bike. However, if you want to maximize your bike's safety during transport, we strongly advise you to add the accessories.

We're never safe from mishandling during transport that could damage the bike or its structure. That's why we've created a complete range of innovative accessories that effectively protect your bike, guaranteeing safe transportation.
What accessories are recommended for the ROADBAG TRAVEL ?

Here's a list of accessories perfectly compatible with the ROADBAG TRAVEL :

  • FRAME PROTECT MAXI: a complete frame protector to fully protect your bike frame. 2x20mm high-density foam.
  • FORK PROTECT: padded protection for your fork to prevent damage to it or the bag during transport.
  • HANDLEBAR PROTECT: A travel bag to store your disassembled handlebars, avoiding any damage or scratches during transport.
  • SADDLE PROTECT: protection to prevent damage to your bike's saddle during transport.
  • PEDALS PROTECT: protection to prevent pedals from damaging or tearing the inside of the bag.
Is it better to keep the rear wheel or remove it for bike transport?

We always recommend keeping the wheel rear for two main reasons:

The drivetrain and in particular the rear derailleur as well as the chainstays and seatstays are fully protected by keeping the wheel rear on the bike.

It's much quicker to stow your bike in its travel bag if you only need to remove the Front wheel.

Tested and approved after a trip to the USA

I bought a Roadbag Travel to travel to Florida with my road bike. Being able to keep the wheel rear on the bike is one of the things that made me choose this bag, it's really practical and naturally protects the rear derailleur and drivetrain !
Beyond that, The bag is very well designed with very thick and dense padding.
I traveled with Air France and checking in the bike was no problem at all.
At the end I am hyper satisfied with my purchase and my bike suffered no damage, that's the main thing!

Excellent material but shipping packaging to be reviewed

As for the material purchased, nothing to say. Excellent material, very resistant and robust. The only problem was the shipping box which arrived open and damaged. Luckily nothing was lost or stolen. I recommend stronger packaging and once you fix this problem and you will be excellent.
