Compatible with road and gravel bikes
Measure the dimensions of your bike as shown in the picture to make sure it fits perfectly in the bag. The height of the saddle may need to be adjusted to suit your bike.
In the vast majority of cases, it will not be necessary to remove the handlebars; simply position them at 90° as shown in the diagram below:

Do I need any additional accessories if I buy a Buds bike bag?
The bag itself is sufficient for transporting the bike. However, if you wish to maximize the safety of your bike during transport, we strongly recommend that you add the accessories.
We can never be sure that improper handling during transport will not damage the bike or its structure. That's why we've created a complete range of innovative accessories that effectively protect your bike, guaranteeing safe transportation.
What accessories are recommended for ROADBAG TRAVEL ?
Here's a list of accessories perfectly compatible with ROADBAG TRAVEL :
- FRAME PROTECT MAXI: complete frame protection for your bike frame. 2x20mm high-density foam.
- FORK PROTECT: padded protection for your fork to prevent damage to the fork or bag during transport.
- HANDLEBAR PROTECT: a storage bag for your disassembled handlebars, preventing damage or scratches during transport.
- SADDLE PROTECT: protection to prevent damage to your bike's saddle during transport.
- PEDALS PROTECT: protection to prevent the pedals from damaging or tearing the inside of the bag.
Is it better to keep the rear wheel or remove it for transporting the bike?
We always recommend keeping the rear wheel for two main reasons:
The drivetrain, and in particular the rear derailleur, as well as the chainstays and seatstays, are fully protected by keeping the rear wheel on the bike.
It's much quicker to pack your bike in its travel bag if you only have to remove the front wheel.
TSA approved : de quoi s’agit-il ?

👉 Il n’existe pas de norme TSA spécifique aux housses ou valises vélo : seuls les cadenas peuvent être certifiés. Pour voyager sereinement avec votre vélo, il suffit donc d’utiliser un ou plusieurs cadenas TSA sur votre housse ou valise.

I was worried about the plane because they don't pay attention to the bikes so often, but with this specific cover for plane travel you feel that the bike is really well protected and you can even add bubble wrap or cushion to protect any part of the bike.
