Description

The new rear derailleur protective shell REAR BIKE PROTECT provides effective protection for the drivetrain rear of your bike (rear derailleur, chainstays and seatstays) when the wheel rear is removed for storage in its bag.

Thanks to high-density foam padding + a rigid shell, your rear derailleur will be fully protected from shocks and scratches that may be caused during transport.

The REAR BIKE PROTECT is compatible and very strongly recommended with any Travel bags requiring the removal of both wheels from the bike.

100% compatible Road, Gravel and MTB - muscular and electrical.

Good protection with just a little improvement in case of luggage carrier

Does indeed look well wrapped and fits in The bag train bag classic.
Just provide two notches at the top of the cover so you can slide in the stays of a luggage rack (common when traveling)

it's a shame the sides of the protection aren't as rigid as the circular shell.

Your idea came to us :-) We just upgraded our next Rear Bike Protect with a rigid protection on the whole Rear Protect shell thanks to a 'pragmatic and efficient' solution from our R&D department ...although the protection on the current model is already effective in properly protecting the derailleur.
