The new bag ultra lightweight and compact ROADBAG LIGHT 2024 is specially designed to make it easier to transport and store your Road bike without the need to remove the wheel rear (Simply remove the Front wheel and place it in its independent bag with foam hub reinforcement to prevent scratches to the frame).

Suitable for bikepacking and occasional transport - car, bus, hotel... This revolutionary bag keeps you on the move and is easy to store once folded in its carrying pouch, which you simply attach to the handlebars in a matter of seconds.

      Do I need accessories if I buy A transport bag for bike buds-sports ?

      The bag itself is sufficient for transporting the bike. However, if you want to maximise the safety of your bike during transport, we strongly advise you to add the accessories.

      We are never safe from mishandling the bag which could damage the bike or its structure. That's why we've created innovative accessories that will cover the most important part of your bike's structure and guarantee safe transport.

      Which accessories go with the ROADBAG LIGHT 2024?

      Here's a list of accessories we recommend to go with my bag ROADBAG LIGHT:

      • Maxi Frame Protect: A complete frame protector to protect your entire bike frame. 2x20mm high-density foam.
      • Fork Protect: A padded protection for your fork to prevent it from getting damaged or damaging the bag during transport

      Is it better to keep the wheel rear or remove it for transporting the bike?

      We always advise you to keep the wheel rear for two main reasons:

      The drivetrain and in particular the rear derailleur, as well as the chainstays and seatstays, are fully protected by keeping the wheel rear on the bike.
      It's much quicker to stow your bike in its travel bag if you only need to remove the Front wheel.

      good but...........

      bag light, solid, good for carrying on the bike once the train journey is over. But unfortunately the dimensions ofThe bag are not in accordance with what is allowed to board a TGV. On the way there no worries no check, on the way back a controller a little too fussy gave me a fine because too big. 35 euros ..... the SNCF dimensions are 130X90 and not 153X85; for the next trip I keepThe bag very practical, even if the handles are too long (but given my size all the handles would be too long lol) and I would fold down the excess with a strap or something like that.

      Order ofbag by bike

      The bag is good and the BUDS site is well done. But the order via DPD was a disaster: the delivery to a delivery relay was cancelled twice, and I finally went to pick up the package at the DPD depot in Fresnes which was fortunately not too far from my home.
