Do I need any additional accessories if I buy a Buds bike bag?

The bag itself is sufficient for transporting the bike. However, if you wish to maximize the safety of your bike during transport, we strongly recommend that you add the accessories.

We can never be sure that improper handling during transport will not damage the bike or its structure. That's why we've created a complete range of innovative accessories that effectively protect your bike, guaranteeing safe transportation.

Which accessories go with the MTBAG ORIGINAL ?

Here's a list of accessories perfectly compatible with the MTBAG ORIGINAL:

FRAME PROTECT MAXI: complete frame protection for your bike frame. 2x20mm high-density foam.
FORK PROTECT: padded protection for your fork to prevent damage to the fork or bag during transport.
HANDLEBAR PROTECT: a storage bag for your disassembled handlebars, preventing damage or scratches during transport.
SADDLE PROTECT: protection to prevent damage to your bike's saddle during transport.
PEDALS PROTECT: protection to prevent the pedals from damaging or tearing the inside of the bag.

Is it better to keep the rear wheel or remove it for transporting the bike?

We always recommend keeping the rear wheel for two main reasons:

The drivetrain, and in particular the rear derailleur, as well as the chainstays and seatstays, are fully protected by keeping the rear wheel on the bike.

It's much quicker to pack your bike in its travel bag if you only have to remove the front wheel.

Qualitative

After 1 month of using the mtbag original, I am fully satisfied. It seems solid.
I have a 29" all-mountain MTB , size L with an 800mm belt, which fits in the bag.
This allows me to transport my bike in my car without dirtying it, as well as store it in my apartment.
I had to deal with the after-sales service following a delivery error, and they were very reactive.
On the other hand, the fork protection is not suitable for a fox 36 performance.

Non saprei da dove cominciare. Prodotto ottimo, non esiste nulla di simile sul mercato con lo stesso standard qualitativo, ora posso inserire la mia MTB con diagonale di 190 senza la ruota anteriore nella mia Tesla Model 3 senza pericolo. Spedizione veloce ottima, ha un costo supplementare ma il pacco è arrivato in meno di 24h ordinato alle 18:00 ed arrivato il giorno dopo alle 13:00. Servizio chat sul sito efficientissimo, operatori cordiali e che rispondono in un istante.
Lo consiglio a tornerò a visitarlo non appena avrò bisogno di altro, se anche la vostra mtb e' più lunga di 5cm rispetto alle misure della bici all'interno della sacca state tranquilli ci entrerà lo stesso!!!!
