The new 2026 ultra-light and compact TRAIN BAG LIGHT cover is specially designed to facilitate the transport and storage of your road and MTB bike by removing both wheels .
Suitable for train travel, meeting the SNCF standard of 130 x 90 cm , and for use in cars , buses , etc., this revolutionary cover protects your bicycle during your journeys and is easily stored thanks to its handlebar attachment system . The storage pouch protects the bicycle fork.

Do I need any additional accessories if I buy a bicycle carrying case? Buds -Sports?
The bag itself is sufficient for transporting the bicycle. However, if you wish to maximize the security of your bicycle during transport, we strongly advise you to add the accessories.
We are never completely safe from mishandling during transport that could damage the bicycle or its frame. That's why we've created a complete range of innovative accessories that effectively protect your bike, ensuring safe transport.
What accessories are recommended with the TRAINBAG LIGHT ?
Here is a list of accessories we recommend to further protect your cover TRAINBAG LIGHT :
- FRAME PROTECT MAXI : Complete frame protection to fully protect your bicycle frame. 2x20mm high-density foam.
- REAR BIKE PROTECT : a rigid and padded protective cover for your rear derailleur
- FORK PROTECT : padded protection for your fork to prevent it from getting damaged or damaging the bag during transport.

Is it better to keep the rear wheel on or remove it for transporting the bike?
We always advise you to keep the rear wheel for two main reasons:
The transmission, and in particular the rear derailleur, as well as the chainstays and seatstays, are fully protected by the rear wheel support on the bike.
It is much faster to pack your bike into its travel bag if you only need to remove the front wheel.
J'ai testé à 3 reprises la housse depuis mon achat ! En train depuis Lyon jusqu'à Biarritz, Rennes et Annecy.
Je monte et démonte facilement le vélo et le range dans la housse sur le quai, j'ai un grand vélo (je mesure 1m95) et il rentre très bien dedans.
En déplacement, il tiens sur l'avant du guidon et les sangles sont assez longues pour s'adapter à la forme de mon vélo.

matériel bien maintenu et sécurisé , la housse est légère et compacte a la fois , on sent que c’est un produit fait par des cyclistes pour des cyclistes. Je recommande sans hésiter !
Ich habe die Trainbag Light bestellt und diesen Sommer in französichen, deutschen und italienischen Zügen ausprobiert. Die Tasche ist einfach aufgebaut und das Fahrrad lässt sich auf diese Weise gut, insbesondere mit der separat zu kaufenden Support-Stütze (damit das Fahrrad sicher steht), transportieren und im Zug verstauen. So umgeht man die komplizierte Fahrrad-Stellplatz-Reservierung.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist der tolle Service des BUDS-Teams. Ich musste eine Ware umtauschen und mir wurde stets schnell geantwortet und jedes Mal sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend weiter geholfen.
Il y a un an j'ai acheté le train bag light ainsi que les accessoires. Je recommande ces derniers pour une protection maximale du pédalier et de la fourche avant puisqu'on enlève la roue. Ce sac s'est avéré de très bonne manufacture : léger et solide ! J'ai le plaisir de refaire voyager mon gravel cette année dans le même sac : direction la Toscane!

Meilleure solution que j‘ai trouvé pour transporter la housse sur le vélo après.
J‘ai protégé le vélo aber de carton dans la housse, comme ça, la protection est ok.
Les poches à côté sont trop petites pour accueillir les roues, mais en tout cas je préfère les attacher au cadre pour protéger le dérailleur. Attaché à l’extérieur de la housse, le sacoche gène un peut.
Livré au Danemark en quelques jours.

It ist my second train bag light, as I lost the first ona a journey. It ist great for traveling withe bike in Europe. Most railway companies accept it as a piece of luggage. I took the black now as the amber gets easily dirty with grease.
The weight is ok for long trips, a good compromise between weight and robustness.
A brand I highly recommend; the quality of their covers is incredible.

TRAINBAG LIGHT
Le baluchon de la housse rangé dans son sac prend les dimension d'une sacoche de fourche ou de guidon de 5-6L. Le sac de rangement de la housse a même des straps pour l'attacher directement au guidon : bonne initiative, mais un daisy chain serait encore plus utile pour l'attacher au différentes cage de transport à vélo ! Donc pas impossible à ranger, même en bikepacking, mais ce n'est clairement pas de l'ultralight ni minimaliste. La housse est bien couvrante, on peut transporter le vélo à l'envers (guidon et selle vers le bas) pour tenter d'épargner un peu le dérailleur arrière. Possible de caser même un VTT avec un guidon papillon. Grace aux compartiments de rangement des roues d'à côté, le vélo peut être démonté et emballé en moins de 5 min (testé et approuvé) directement sur le quai, devant la voiture de votre train ! Attention aux axes de roue longues que certains dispositifs nécessitent (remorques, porte-bagages sur axe) : pensez bien à les démonter et ranger car ils semblent pouvoir percer la housse. Quelques daisy chains directement cousues sur la housse faciliterait l'attachement de vélo aux rembardes des salles hautes du train.
Cet équipement est au top et correspond parfaitement a la description du site , je recommande fortement !
Housse super pour le train. Les poignées sont un peu longues, du coup une petite sangle latérale serait la bienvenue pour soulager l'épaule.

La housse TrainBag Light est une super option pour ceux qui voyagent en train avec leur vélo. Elle est ultra légère et se plie facilement, ce qui est un vrai plus quand on doit bouger rapidement. Elle respecte bien les dimensions requises pour le train, et mon vélo de route a été bien protégé tout au long du voyage. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la simplicité de rangement et le fait qu’elle prenne peu de place. Parfaite pour les cyclistes voyageurs qui cherchent une solution pratique et sans prise de tête !
une équipe au top et trés réactive ! j'ai changé en urgence mon achat decathlon que j'avais acheté et qui s'est déchirée dès que j'ai mis le vélo dedans ! (une catastrophe!!) . Ce produit Buds est trés solide et n'a rien à voir ! les deux poches sont renforcées pour éviter les rayures des axes . Produit bien pensé dans l'ensemble je recommande cette belle marque francaise !
