Suitable for train travel, meeting the SNCF standard of 130 x 90 cm , and for use in cars , buses , etc., this revolutionary cover protects your bicycle during your journeys and is easily stored thanks to its handlebar attachment system . The storage pouch protects the bicycle fork.

Do I need any additional accessories if I buy a bicycle carrying case? Buds -Sports?
The bag itself is sufficient for transporting the bicycle. However, if you wish to maximize the security of your bicycle during transport, we strongly advise you to add the accessories.
We are never completely safe from mishandling during transport that could damage the bicycle or its frame. That's why we've created a complete range of innovative accessories that effectively protect your bike, ensuring safe transport.
What accessories are recommended with the TRAINBAG LIGHT ?

Is it better to keep the rear wheel on or remove it for transporting the bike?
We always advise you to keep the rear wheel for two main reasons:
The transmission, and in particular the rear derailleur, as well as the chainstays and seatstays, are fully protected by the rear wheel support on the bike.
It is much faster to pack your bike into its travel bag if you only need to remove the front wheel.
I have tested the cover 3 times since my purchase! By train from Lyon to Biarritz, Rennes and Annecy.
I can easily assemble and disassemble the bike and store it in the cover on the platform; I have a large bike (I am 1.95m tall) and it fits very well inside.
When traveling, it fits on the front of the handlebars and the straps are long enough to fit the shape of my bike.

The equipment is well-protected and secure; the case is both lightweight and compact. You can tell it's a product made by cyclists for cyclists. I highly recommend it!
I have die Trainbag Light best sellers and dies are in French, German and Italian Zügen ausprobiert. When the bag is loaded and the bike is left on the right side, it should not be separated from the Support-Stütze (damit the bike should be stored), transported and in the Zug verstauen. So umgeht man die komplizierte Fahrrad-Stellplatz-Reservierung.
Besons hervorzuheben ist der tolle Service des BUDS -Teams. I must have a good ware and we have to wait until the end of the day.
A year ago, I bought the Train Bag Light and the accessories. I highly recommend them for maximum protection of the crankset and front fork, since you remove the wheel. This bag has proven to be very well made: lightweight and sturdy! I'm happy to be taking my gravel bike on another trip this year in the same bag: off to Tuscany!

The best solution I've found for transporting the cover on the bike afterwards.
I protected the bike with cardboard inside the cover, so the protection is ok.
The side pockets are too small to hold the wheels, but I prefer to attach them to the frame anyway to protect the derailleur. Attached to the outside of the bag, the pannier gets in the way a bit.
Delivered to Denmark in a few days.
Impeccable service and quality
It is my second train bag light, as I lost the first on a journey. It is great for traveling withe bike in Europe. Most railway companies accept it as a piece of luggage. I took the black now as the amber gets easily dirty with grease.
The weight is ok for long trips, a good compromise between weight and robustness.
A brand I highly recommend; the quality of their covers is incredible.

TRAINBAG LIGHT
The bag containing the cover, packed inside its stuff sack, is about the size of a 5-6L fork or handlebar bag. The stuff sack even has straps for attaching it directly to the handlebars: a nice touch, but a daisy chain would be even more useful for attaching it to various bike carriers! So, it's not impossible to pack, even when bikepacking, but it's definitely not ultralight or minimalist. The cover provides good coverage, and you can even carry the bike upside down (handlebars and saddle facing down) to try and protect the rear derailleur. It's even possible to fit a... MTB with butterfly handlebars. Thanks to the storage compartments for the wheels next to it, the bike can be disassembled and packed in less than 5 minutes (tested and approved) right on the platform, in front of your train carriage! Be careful with the long wheel axles required by some devices (trailers, axle-mounted luggage racks): remember to remove and store them, as they seem capable of puncturing the cover. A few daisy chains sewn directly onto the cover would make it easier to secure the bike to the railings in the upper carriages of the train.

Great cover for the train. The handles are a bit long, so a small side strap would be welcome to relieve the shoulder.
