I took my MTB by train and then by plane with it and it arrived in perfect condition, the padding is thick and the straps are well positioned.

When stored in its bag, the pouch takes on the dimensions of a 5-6L fork or handlebar bag. The bag even has straps for attaching it directly to the handlebars: a good initiative, but a daisy chain would be even more useful for attaching it to the various bike carriers! So it's not impossible to store, even when bikepacking, but it's clearly not ultralight or minimalist. The cover is well-covered, so you can carry your bike upside down (handlebars and saddle down) to spare the rear derailleur a little. You can even fit an MTB with butterfly handlebars. Thanks to the wheel storage compartments on either side, the bike can be dismantled and packed in less than 5 minutes (tested and approved) directly on the platform, in front of your train's carriage! Beware of the long wheel axles that some devices require (trailers, axle-mounted luggage racks): remember to dismantle and store them carefully, as they seem to be able to pierce the cover. A few daisy chains sewn directly onto the cover would make it easier to attach the bike to the railings in the upper rooms of the train.

I used this bag to transport my bike for a weekend, and it's easy to fold, light to carry and, above all, sturdy. My carbon frame arrived without a scratch.

I bought this cover and the fork, crankset and derailleur protectors, so that I could bring my bike back after a BRM with a return by train; I had everything delivered on arrival by the organizers. The bike (without lowering the saddle) and the wheels are easy to slide into the bag on the station platform, but it's best to avoid places that are very exposed to the wind.The bag is resistant, the accessories are light, solid and well designed.The derailleur protection is particularly effective, as are the others. The wheel compartments are perfect, but the straps are a bit long. I'm 1.82m tall, and even when shortened to the maximum, the cover rubs a little on steps and isn't very far from the ground when walking; the padded shoulder reinforcement is a little thin.The whole thing is very practical for journeys with connections (metro, train, RER) without long portages (I had to travel 1.5 km with the bike on my shoulder, total weight in the bag around 9kg)). The bag's case is practical and the bag fits in easily, if you take the precaution of expelling the air inside and folding it correctly. Time to install the protections on the bike and put the bike and its wheels in the cover: 10 minutes; time to fold the cover: 5 minutes.
